Repetitious

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Richmond, VA

When I do something that is repetitious takes me straight into a seizure without warning. Do anyone else have that experience? Example: nearing a bridge, I can't walk or drive across any bridge if I can't see or know whats on the other side; explaining myself over and over again; being pressed to do something or doing something I don't want to do and anything that is tedious.

Sound like your triggering yourself to stress and anxiety. Those are a couple of big triggers that makes us seizure.

I like to play some facebook games but sometimes just out of the blue they become stressful to me and I start shaking and breaking into a sweat. If I don't stop right away I'll have a seizure.

None taken, it scares me because people talk and say the cruelest things when they find out I have seizures. Sometimes I get so angry because ignorance is bliss, they need to listen and learn about epilepsy.
