Everyone is different. First take meds as scheduled. Try and reduce the stress ( not always possible ). I like to listen to music, go outside, watch tv 📺 or movies 🎥, And play games . Those are a few things I do.

There are many people who may prefer to draw or doodle, do puzzle books, jigsaw puzzles, maybe go out shopping or just window shopping, if there's a hobby, do that and there are many other things.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member i tried everything before the surgery because when i had brain surgery (in 2001) my right side of the body is gone. i have a brace and therapy every week. i have had other surgery (leg and food) because of the brain surgery. in the near future, i will get more surgery. also i didn't get a dr, i got a hole team because it was fairy new to treating epilepsy and they where afraid.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member thats not entirely true. we, my family, have a disorder called 'celiac disease'. we cant have grains. if we do our bodys will attack the weakest link. in my case is my brain. i am not confuse, my body is saying 'get out you grains!'. as for the last part of your post, knowledge is power. my mom and i read all about our condition and found a treatment for our celiacs and my Complex Partial seizure.
i am off topic a great way to get out of a seizure is to deep breath 10x and take focus on one thing. mine is music and tv theme songs.

There are many triggers. Diet sleep anxiety ( stress trigger seizures, seizures cause stress) I just took note of what maybe triggering them. I realised one of them was a brand of coffee. It's a big learning process then again it may be just the way it is. Trial and error with medication maybe the way to go. I hope I have helped
