Anyone Have A Hard Time Talking?
Ever since I had my first and only grand mal seizure last January, I've had a really hard time talking. With almost every conversation I have I will mess up words that use to be no problem for me. It almost feels like as if my mouth is deformed. At first I thought it was because I talk to fast but when I slow myself down in a conversation then it'll trigger a absence seizure and I won't be able to talk at all.
Sometimes I will have a seizure where I can see, hear, and feel things, but cannot speak until a minute or so after the seizure is over. Sometimes I will say something that doesn't make sense right after I come out of a seizure.

Do as Professional Speaker's do. Step back take a deep breath or two. Relax and then start with short phrases/sentences. If YOU start to feel something, STOP agaiin for another deep breath. REPEAT as needed. Care for Yourself more then speaking. Overtime YOU will be speaking automatic. IT JUST TAKES PRACTICE & TIME. :)
yes I forget words and have a hard time remembering my sentences. I stop talking in the middle of sentences and don't remember what I was talking about. I say the wrong words for things as well
I had an issue with my words until my medications were properly managed. Have they checked your medication levels to make sure they aren't too high? (That was my problem)
