I have never had that experience I use Splenda everyday in my coffee and it does not cause me to have seizures. I've never drank a cup of coffee and then had a seizure head but I do use it everyday so I couldn't say wholeheartedly if it hasn't contributed to any of my seizure activity

Cas,
I never used artificial sweeteners because what it can do. I just use plain sugar or honey!

Aspartame is an artificial sweetner, it affects some medication so you could get seizures because of your meds that are not doing their job.
