Do you use an app to track your seizures and auras?
If so, which app do you find helpful?

There are a ton of different apps to choose from to track your seizures. The only one that I'm really familiar with is the one that the Epilepsy Foundation created...My Seizure Diary. You can go here and learn more about it: http://www.epilepsy.com/get-help/my-epilepsy-diary

I know that you can track your seizures, it gives you different reports, your doctor can have access to it too. You can keep notes in it, notifications for medications. It's a pretty great app. They just updated it so some of the newer features are really great.

The only app I've tried is Epsy, and so far I really like it. It reminds you when to take your medications, you can log when you have an aura, when you have a seizure, what type of seizure it was, and allows you to choose up to 10 different triggers (out of a bunch of preloaded options), you can journal what's going on with sleep patterns, stuff like that, each week it analyzes your activity and will tell you any trends in seizure activity, recommend articles to read, and you can share everything with your doctor directly in the app. I will be downloading the CareZone app that has been mentioned on here to check that out to compare with Epsy to see which I prefer better.

I have 2 places i keep them, a handwritten set on my big desktop calendar, but i copy to the main diary kept online, i use a separate email account to keep my notes, medicine changes etc in my drafts folder or unsent email - i send myself a copy of them all every month or so to my regular email. the ability to access my notes in my doctors office. I try to keep xray and other digital files accessible as well.
