Hi have you asked your doctor to check if you suffer with a form of migraine you can get a strong form of medication for it good luck take care .

I get terrible headaches myself that can last for up to 2 days also sometimes but if I take the meds my doctor has got me on and laydown and put a icepack or one of those cold packs that u buy from the drugstore with the beads in it and put it on my head and rest it will usually go away I take Imitrex and gabapentin for Headaches I take the Gab 3 times a day and the Imitrex only at onset of headache I also take Ibuprofen sometimes and 1 seems to help when other don't

I have cluster headaches. Mine will last anywhere from 15 minutes to 12 hours. Is the pain always in the exact same place? It sounds kind of like cluster headaches. You should probably talk to your doc. When mine hit, I am totally incapacitated.
