California, CA

Anyone able to recommend a neurologist or epileptologist within the Kaiser system in Northern California? Just switched insurance.... Thanks!

An epileptolgist was the best thing to ever happen to me! I had spent 20+ years seeing the same neuro who was a prescription pusher and never adequately investigated far enough.. Felt it was time to move on and i waited over 1 year to see the guy who changed my life! After 23 days am seizure free! Thanks to surgery! Don't get me wrong i totally get that technology has improved over the 20 years but to me a good dr should keep investigating whilst new techniques become available

I wish I could. One thing you may want to try is check with the Epilepsy Foundation in your state. They may have suggestions for an Epileptologist.

D@ That's good for the most part. Lamictal is one MED I never tried. But now if they do what they are supposed to I have zero problems. CBD OIL works as a minor relaxant mostly in Brain, YOU can't even tell YOU took any. But, on Days I have I had less symptoms/side effects. It was made for Babies. I'll put drops in food occasionally or just drops on my tongue. I never tried on zero Medication yet.

Everything takes time especially with SZ MEDS, so just keep up the POSTIVE attitude, like always.

Stay well, DEAN :)
