I tend to get more seizures around my menstrual cycle and have heard having seizures around that time of month is not rare. Anyone else have to deal with this same issue?

I have the same issue. My seizures are definitely hormonal. I will have seizures during the entire cycle and a week or so after. Sometimes even before. They are mostly during that time, actually.

I ve had epilepsy all my life. Pretty bad when I was younger. The older I got the better I got. During my teenage years it was mostly during my menstrual cycle.
I saw my first neurologist at 16 and was seizure free at 17.
