VNS Vs. RNS
I was just wondering if any member has experienced the RNS or as it is also called the pacemaker for the brain and if it is better than the VNS as far as results are concerned. I was just curious if it works better than the VNS.
I HIGHLY recommend seeing if you are a candidate for MRI-guided Laser Ablation (Visualase) surgery vs these very invasive procedures you are asking about. I am going to try medical marijuana soon and if that doesn't work, I will pursue Visualase. Read it and go watch some videos on YouTube as well. Please write me and let me know your opinion. Thanks and God Bless.

That's what it was. It's been almost 7 years since I've touch one. The brain surgery has worked well for me.
Idk about RNS but advice on VNS don't get it. I'm getting mine removed it started acting up on me a couple weeks ago so no on VNS. Plus didn't do much to help my seizures but everyone's body is different too.
Hope that helps a little😊
I have a vns and do not see any improvement, take the same amount of meds and voice is now bad which is a side effect of the vns. I have had mine since 2010.
Thanks Christine! I have Osteoporosis from My Meds. I get the Bone Density Scan and each time it gets worse. That's why I always consider about having the Surgery but still on Meds.
