Hailey also has hormone triggered seizures and they have put her on minastrin but she does not take the placebo stopping her cycle completely. This has done an amazing job controlling her seizures. Even though they may be lowering the anticonvulsants, if the seizures are caused by hormones to me it makes sense to control the hormones better. Mirena may work well since it stops cycle and is not systemic so it wouldn't interfere with oral meds. You can Talk to an endocrinologist who is familiar with catamenial seizures to help you find the right combo.
