I have stress-induced seizures too, and yes the head/eye-ball ache is a bitch.

The good news is I can still watch the *warning contains flashing images* and be fine- most of us will be, photosensitive seizures rarely happen. Your close family and friends will still dramatically cover your eyes though.

If I have a seizure I need almost complete darkness for the whole day. It feels like a hangover.
If I do this cheeky stress-inducing stuff like staying up well too late I know I'm going to have burning head/eyes tomorrow.
But at least I can stay up and be at the club... you know if I wanted. So good news/ bad news right?

I hope this helped, hopefully, it made you laugh a little too, and not too much sad. I don't take any pills for my eyes, I just kinda got used to it. You're gonna be okay.

Tilly, Like yourself quite it is two or even three days after the stress that my seizures come up. I can deal with lights if they aren't too bad. The day of my father's funeral my cousin and her husband drove me back to Maryland; when I tried to tell my cousin's husband that he was going the wrong way he said: " How would you know, Lynn? You are just a woman. " Suddenly the Capitol and the Washington Monument appeared and my cousin's husband asked me to give him directions out of downtown. I grinned at him and said: " Now how would I know, George? I'm only a woman. " He spent forty five minutes finding his way out of town; after going clear to Sixteenth Street bear the White House. The next day when I was alone in my house I had a seizure. Linda Concerned

That's sad. Sorry to hear that. I hate when that happens. Lately I am trying so hard to avoid as much stress as I can but it is not always possible, right? We need to be & stay strong and don't let people get to us.

Stress has a BIG effect on my seizures. On the days I have stress, I usually don't have seizures. But 2 or 3 days after, I have seizures for 2 to 3 days.
Lights effect me too. For example, I can't play certain computer games, Candy Crush.
