I do a LOT of research and am trying medical marijuana next month. I, personally, would never try VNS. I'd research and try Visualase MRI guided laser surgery first.

The surgery is piece of cake! Trust the surgeon and you have nothing to worry about. It's a basic surgery. They put you under and then you wake up in a bed. The rep will be around keeping you calm and the surgeon will check on you.

You stay in the hospital over night and it really just depends on your pain threshold. I thought the pain was minimal. Took pain meds for one day.

It'll leave a few minor scars. Whether or not it works? I mean nothing is 100%. Hopefully it'll work.
