How Do I Know If I've Had A Seizure In My Sleep?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've woken up with muscle pain in the middle of my back which I was putting down to my matress and sleeping funny but it feels the same as when I've had my seizures whilst I was awake as it's lasting all day.

I've bought a cheaper version of a fit bit to monitor my sleep and its interesting to see the results. Some night I am sleeping like a baby 😁. Thanks for the idea @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

Along with the muscle pains, in every part of the body, I continue to grind my teeth. Yes, I wear a mouth guard but my jaw will still byte.

The seizures use to be a lot worse and much more dangerous than they are today.

I think it shows activity during your sleep. Mine does anyway as some nights Im all over the place.. it seems.

Ever tried a fitbit bracelet? It records your sleep and shows activity when you are sleeping... I think it might help a little.

if you have a iphone or a smartphone or a tablet or a laptop with video, you can record yourself sleeping. if you use the recorder app remember to charge it. just a idea.
