Passwords

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

Why is it so difficult to remember passwords? I have memory problems with my epilepsy and constantly forget passwords for websites, or even numbers.

Fortunately, I don't have a problem remembering passwords. I have a very good long term memory. I was told by a neurologist that, because my memory is on the left side of my brain, normal for right handed people, my memory got very strong, as it worked harder than normal, because of my seizures stemming from the right side of my brain.

Now, my short term memory is another thing. Being in my early 60's it's getting bad.

I use the same password on all the sites I go to. There may be some that I need to use a different password. For those, I use stickies on my computer.

I must admit I'm pretty good with passwords even though my memory isn't wonderful at times.
