My neurologist has had me on Lamictal and Keppra because they are the safest for pregnancy. I continued them during both my pregnancies (800mg Lamictal and 3000mg Keppra). You’ll want to start extra folic acid pre-pregnancy (4 mg/day). Lamictal can block absorption of folic acid.

I’m on epival and tegretol, so as of right now I’m unable to have children on epival. My neurologist has attempted changing my meds twice and nothing has worked so my next thing is CBD oil. It has been an emotional roller coaster.

I really want to get pregnant but on Epival which I'd have to get off of if I'm pregnant due to it causing problems to the baby. I'm on Keppra but wasn't told about that one but only the Epival works. Clobozam I took since a child & had my children so far. What pills are you on? The neurologist usually will take you off that medication & put you on something else at least just till you have you child then put you back on your regular meds. but I can't cause I'm allergic to everything.
