Epileptologist Recommendations In Nyc

Hi all! I’m looking for an Epileptologist in Manhattan. I want to take a more holistic approach to treating my epilepsy especially since my body is pretty resistant to medication. I’m interested in trying CBD oils, changing my diet and exercise. Please let me know if you know of any Epileptologists with a more modern approach! Thank you!

You may want to get a hold of the Epilepsy Foundation in your state. They should have a lot of info and resources. The big universities may have Epileptologist there.

Hi PilarHernandez. It’s oil from cannabis . CBD is an abbreviation for cannabidiol .

I am wanting to get hold of one on the NHS where I live too. In the whole 44 yrs I have been diagnosed in I have never seen one or an epilepsy nurse. The consultant I have now I feel like ringing his neck. He even thinks that the side effects listed on the leaflet don't exist. Why are we told to read them then!!!!!
