Mould And Epilepsy

Does anyone else live in a house that suffers from bad mold? and do you think this has lead to bad seizures and other related medical conditions such as poor memory and depression?

Most people will NOT experience any health problems from coming in contact with mould. People with asthma, allergies, or other breathing conditions may be more sensitive to mould. People with weakened immune systems (such as people with HIV infection, cancer patients taking chemotherapy or people who have received an organ transplant) and with chronic lung diseases (such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and emphysema) are more at risk of mould infection particularly in their lungs. Very rarely, people may develop a mould infection, usually in the lungs.

Regarding exposure to Stachybotrys chartarum, it has been reported to cause human neurotoxicity but proof is lacking. Neurologic or convulsive ergotism is characterised by symptoms including muscle spasms, seizures, and hallucinations. However it is not epilepsy.

I hope this helps.

Yep. I have extreme chemical and some kind of other toxic or abnormal sensativity. Since i was in a house that was filthy but with no mold and i cleaned it i would throw up on days that i bleached and ammoniad the home and that they were remodelling the tile and walls mostly because of the glue chemicals. The house im in has mold and something else must be in the vents because i have cleaned it so well here. A room one of my relatives is in they say has mold and they never bathe their dogs and i have even vaccumed their room and deodarized it but have sneezing attacks have had my breathing in my throat stop working and fallin faint. I usually refuse to go in there anywhere but yes even when people wear strong colongnes perfumes hair chemicals drug smells or construction and painting chemicals even large forces like the microwave or electrical wires in the yard i zap them from about a foot away. I thought i was crazy but the doctors explained i have too many electrodes and that my sensory parts have become way more sensative do to brain fluctuation damage and injury.

Chemicals, fragrances, drug smells, construction, paint and mould definitely affect me... Having a mould-free residence definitely helps!
