I'v had 2 VNS, & I can reassure you that no the wiring shouldn't look anything like that. My advice call & make an appointment w/ your neurologist.

Hey Karen, my heart goes out to you my friend, I wish there was something I could do for you. That VNS is w/o doubt put in wrong, & now we all have to wait until our ' NEW NORMAL" starts. Thinking about you my friend.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member no it doesn't feel normal but my Dr won't do anything about it because of Corona. He says since the device is working it's not an emergency. Everything i touch shocks me though, that's started worrying me even though i don't know if it has anything to do with the VNS.
