@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member My seizures are affected by my hormones. I got a partial hysterectomy, and my seizures changed from grand mal to myoclonic, simple partial(focal onset aware) and complex partial seizures(focal onset impaired awareness). I am doing better now my hormones are balanced. I was taking Estradiol liquid and Progesterone capsules to keep them balanced. And also cbd oil helped, I take it with food since it does lower my blood sugar a bit. Maca also helped me, along with passionflower.

If I had more than 2drinks I would have a seizure. It's amazing how different things trigger different people. After my brain surgery I have been able to drink every once and awhile and not worry if I'm going to have a seizure
