What Jobs Can You Look At That Are Friendly For Someone That Has Seizures?

After my diagnoses in 2016 I've had some ups and downs with my restrictions for my job. I run heavy machinery and overhead cranes. The restrictions that i have are currently not allowing me to work. Ive been thinking about looking at another job opportunity to see if it would better suite my needs, and allow me to get back to somewhat of a normal life again.

thanks

You may want to check out the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation in your state regarding this need. They have helped me both in N.Y. and in Florida to get the needed education and provide direction for job opportunities. They did testing to see what skills & talents I had, and then helped to pay for going back to school. You just have to knock on the door!!

I cannot drive right now that will be discussed at my upcoming appointment in February. Ive worked as a machinist for the past 15 years of my life, which requires me to run heavy machinery and overhead cranes. I've worked around 3 months in the last 4 years because of my restrictions. I've tried to find an office based job where i work at but haven't found one yet. I think after going through the last four years it might be time to relocate to more of a city type of environment. something that has public transportation. Find a job where i would relocate to. That would take care of some of the things that have limited me over that past 4 years and i could start becoming more self sufficient again. Its just allot of things to think about and they all have to line up together for things to work out correctly.

Thank you

I hated being on both of those, I was just existing when I was taking to many meds , Now my new demon to battle is Anixety and it is one that I have never dealt with before. And so far I have been through 4 medications still looking
I can't see anyone saing something that stuipd aboubt get your kid away from mine. How rude is that !
All I can do is show my boss is that I do the job mine and there's and she might just open her eyes to what she has and can lose

Stay strong

@ Steve Price I live in Wisconsin and I did start off with a Adult group Center where you go to work and earn a pay check and if you want to get out of there you have to prove yourself and I did and that is how I got the job at the hospital.
I did work at another place before for that but not being able to drive i do not make as much money as the rest if I did I would but I work just as hard as they do.
Now I deal with Aniexty because I have a hard time wearing the mask and I can not wear the 95 pap it will hurt my back and neck, try wearing that for 7 hours ugg !
