I'm just clumsy but I don't fall down the stairs that often, but I do have drop seizures and I don't ever know when I'm going to have them or that I did unless there wasn't someone around to help me up from the floor and to my bed or the couch. Then I will just sleep right where I fall!

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, thank you for sharing with me how dangerous living up stairs in an apt. can be. At the time this was all my landlady had open, & I needed to get out from where I was. The other place was falling apart, & had bed bugs that I spent my own $$ on to get rid of. Then this wonderful angel came into my life, & got me the heck out of that nasty place. GOOD NEWS here is I'm next on the list for a downstairs apt.. Till then I'm moving very slow, like
a slough, grabbing the rail of the stairway like it's my best friend.

I would be careful going down stairs I once stayed in a maisonette flat with up and downstairs I had three beds rooms there was 4 in a block I was on the top floor my mum wanted me to sell my house and get on the ground floor I was stubborn I was only in my flat for a year I gave it 10 years before I realised I needed a ground floor flat with no stairs x x

Did u ever hear of when people get crystals in their ear canal & it becomes stuck that it comes out on its own just time. I had crystals stuck in both my deep inner canals that caused dizziness. It was living hell. Finally the last resort if crystals not coming out of ur ear would be to use an extremely large vibrator around both ears & the strength of the vibrator loosens the crystals & dizziness goes away!! Maybe vibrators do have several purposes..lol!!!!!

mine is both seizures and normal. when i am having an aura seizure, my balance is terrible. on the other hand me and my family (non seizures) loss balance all the time.
