It could be an involuntary movement seizure she is having so her epilepsy nurse could be right I have involuntary seizures I’ve had them for a few years I never had them when I was diagnosed I was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy the seizures were simple partial and absense now I have complex partial seizures , focal , absense , I have them in my sleep , involuntary movements , clusters it was mostly on my left side then spilt to both sides it can be scarey when you’ve never had a type of seizure before seizures can change through the years I’m 44 I was diagnosed when I was 29 take care x x

I suffer non-epileptic seizures as well as tonic-clonic. Involuntary hand shaking is a feature of both

I have hand waving , tapping anything to my left( ,one time it looked like I was conducting an orchestra !)My husband had to move me to a different chair as I was turning my head & hand towards the lamp & switching it on & off I don't have major fits but have back to back absences & partials for 24 hours .These movements are part of each episode ,last for about 20 seconds
