Tremors Medication
Does anyone get hand tremors from epilepsy medication?
If any, which ones and how do I handle this problem
I've had tremors of the hands all my life, but it runs on my dad's side of the family. My dad had them, and a few of my siblings have them, as well. However, around 2009, my mouth started trembling. I've always wondered if it has anything to do with the Lyrica/Pregabalin, I started taking in 2008, or if it's a result of my brain surgery in 1993. I asked the different neurologists that I have seen throughout the years, if it was related to either, and all of them said no. I recently read up on tremors, and they are actually called essential tremors.
When I had tremors, I took a cardiac. Med. it stopped my tremors! It was a reaction of being on 3 sz drugs !
Yes, I get tremors, have had them for as long as I can remember, (I'm 72). My two medications are, Phenytoin and Sodium Valproate.
I have carpal tunnel yes my hands do shake as well
I switched to an electric razor for a while. If someone is watching me do something it can get worse.
I’ve been on several medications. Hard to say what combo causes it to be worse.
