Does Anyone Else Lose Feeling In Parts Of Their Body Before And/or After A Seizure?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Westport, WA

I've noticed lately that I've been losing feeling in parts of my body (mostly my legs) before and after some of my "Bad" seizures as I like to call them. I normally have absence seizures, but lately when I have my partial-onset seizures, that I've been losing feeling in parts of my body. It's likely this could be something different, but does anyone else experience the same thing or something similar?

Sometimes My legs would go numb right before a seizure. After I would awake, I wouldn't be able to remember addresses, names or phone numbers for about an hour/.

I become frozen everywhere in my body. Not necessarily numb, but just frozen, if that makes any sense. 🙂
