Looking At Epilepsy In A Positive Way?
I have to do a paper for school and I have to choose a personal topic that is important to me. There's a part of me that is tempted to write on how epilepsy has changed me for the better. But I'm curious does anyone else feel like epilepsy has enriched their life? Or given them nuggets of personality that makes them better? Each State/Government has it’s laws. If You haven’t been having any seizures in a certain time per law, have all the documents sent to the government and then You’ll be able to get a license

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member - I love that you didn't let ignorant people determine your direction. I didn't have epilepsy when I was in high school (as far as I know), but one of the guidance counselors told me I'd never get into college. Screw him; I got my masters.

I always say it's what makes me unique, I believe the struggles from it made me strong and I can handle more than most, I believe growing up and being told I'm different and I'll never be the same as other people by some pushed me to try to be better than what people thought I could ever be especially in sports and academics, I try to use it as an inspiration to be able to show people we are just as capable as a "normal" person is. I still think about trying to get into PA school because that's what I want to do I'd like to be able to be almost a doctor and be like I have epilepsy and I didn't let that stop me
