No, I don't think you want fake what you actually have, unless you are that way, I don't! My condition as well as everyone that has this seizures are not no joke and taken as one, they are serious and should be. My answer

I am back on Keppra now but I hate it there are so few meds I can take. I hate what Keppra does to me yes it does work against the Grand Mal and I am thankful for that but it affects my body badly in other ways. You know caught between a rock and a hard place.

I get accused of faking them all the time by the EMTs in my town. That’s why I never call 911 any more and just risk it. I even have my NeuroPace Device (RNS) that proves I’m not faking them and a letter from my neurologist that I gave to them, stating that I’m not faking them, but they don’t care. I don’t even ask for pain meds after a seizure, so I don’t know why I don’t know why they would accuse me of this. I’ve even had a seizure on an airplane. Woke up with the whole flight staring at me. I got lucky that there was on off duty EMT on the plane that helped me out.

I have never been accused of faking a seizure.someone who accuses you of faking a seizure certainly hasn't got any compassion.especially if the one who has a seizure and because of seizures aren't able to work, drive or both.why would someone purposely not work or drive if they don't have seizures when they want to work or drive?????

One time is too many. Whether it be that or made fun of it made me mad as hell. I did fake it one time as a kid but never again. It’s too serious for us to be faking and for them to be accusing, or making fun of. As I got bigger and older I got angrier and started beating the hell out of those that did, but that’s not the answer either.
