How Do You Safely Deal With Lights With Photosensitive Epilepsy?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I am a filmmaker and as part of my job I work with cinematographers and photographers. I am not medicated for my seizures yet. I recently discovered my seizures are photosensitive and I have intense seizures after seeing flashing light. How do you safely deal with light with photosensitive epilepsy?

I don’t have Photosensitivity, but upon a reasearch I did in the past , there is special blue lens eyewear that helps decrease photosensitive seizures.

I have the same problem. My problem is I work for an ambulance company and I have to avoid flashing lights as much as I can. Not easy to do.
