Alyssa, I know that feeling all too well. It's nothing to get too overwhelmed by. So, you anxious about some things sometimes. So what? Everyone does. Don't let your anxiousness turn into anxiety, though. Trust me on that one. You wrote that can't smoke. Well, I can't eat or drink anything with alcohol or caffeine in it. But I spend a lot of time in bars playing pool and in bowling alleys bowling (lots of beer guzzling all around me). And this Christmas, I'll be going up to my aunt's house where my uncle has one hell of a stash of weed. I can't have that, either. Just remember, we're all a little different. But those of us on here are REALLY different. Just enjoy your uniqueness.

Alyssa, when you get into a mood like that, that's called depression. The best thing that any of us can do when we're depressed is to find an activity that pleases us, then do that. What I like to do is make my own greeting cards and write poetry. I also do a lot of volunteer work in town. I LOVE giving speeches and performing comic sketches for my friends and family. I'm a former stand-up comedian. I used to be a professional journalist, too. I went to college to become an advertising copywriter (someone who writes the scripts for TV commercials). But that never panned out for me, so I went into banking. Then my seizures took control at the same time that the bank I was working for went out of business. So, I went into customer service. One problem with that, though----people are idiots and really annoy me. Now, I'm unemployed and living on my savings and disability. I wish that Hallmark would hire me. But if they don't, I won't be crushed. There will ALWAYS be something just over the horizon. You just have to keep looking.

HeatherP, I believe Einstein, and lots of well known creators had epilepsy. I believe Leonardo DaVinci had it, and he painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel on his back for years! I too had a high IQ at my last testing, which was decades ago now. But epilepsy is not a death sentence when it comes to intelligence! We just use it a little differently (and often creatively)…

Try to remember to relax

woah woah woah WE DO NOT ALL SUCK!!! because of having a crazy brain surgery, they had to do all these mental tests to see if I could take it. I found out do I not only think differently in a smart, that both sides of my brain work at the same time and that I'm extremely smart. like 145 literal genius. my parents have to remind me when I'm amazed I came up with something and they go yeah because your smart remember. I do believe Einstein had Epilepsy.
