Does Anyone Get Scared When You Since That You Are Going To Have A Seizure
Yes but for me it happens in stages, firstly i feel a different sense of reality, secondly i realise my coordination/balance/vision is impaired and thirdly i realise whats happening between a fog of confusing thoughts.....fourthly im scared.... .....
When I leave home to go anywhere, I wear my Epilepsy bracelet, my Emergency contact info that also has a list of my CURRENT and past meds., I've learned, the drs will prescribe to you what they want even if they SEE what you are taking. And get out and have fun.
That was my warning! If I felt scared and had no reason for it, I knew a seizure was coming. Then I would start talking or singing and that would stop it 90% of the time.
The thought of having a seizure, is always in the far back of my mind. I don’t let it scare me, stress me, nor worry myself. Any of that kind of thinking, can trigger seizures itself. I just try and keep cautious , stay aware that my seizures can happen at anytime.
I don't get scared but I do get anxious. Immediately, I try to take meds, find a place to sit or lay down, close my eyes and pray that my body & brain will settle down.
