I don't have siblings or older relatives anymore. But you've given me an idea to talk with former work colleagues (I'm retired) about things during my working years. Not as perfect as your mum but it will be fun nonetheless.

I love everyday talking with my adopted mum. Although she doesn't realize I'm using a skill I was taught in my minor degree psychology we will talk for hours using dates and places. She loves it. I enjoy it too. She is 87 next month. And her memory is starting to slide. Actually mine is worse so her calls help me more.

Yes I have played many games to help my memory. My favorite game are work games , like search a word , fill In a Word and those game apps, where they show a group of letters mixed around and you try to find as many words in the mix letters. Scrabble

Then there the game memory , putting picture puzzles together. Differential picture games, and Math games if you like Math.
