Do you feel free to walk around or go places by yourself without having to worry about a seizure?

Hi Alexandra, for me it depends on the last seizure. I had one yesterday, so I didn't walk alone today. I wait at least a day. I usually walk with someone though.

I get lost too easy. Encephalitis left me with seizures and cognitive damage. But if you take me back to the neighborhood I grew up in I can go anywhere and remember every shortcut and names of street.

First of all, I know I haven't had a seizure for 22 1/2 years but I still remember what I did when I felt an aura. I would start to sing or talk feeling I'm not gonna black out if I'm using my brain. 90% of the time it worked. For this reason, I wasn't afraid to go anywhere anytime.

Yes, I walk alone 2-3x/day. Thankful my dog gets me out!! My seizures are focal impaired; I don't lose balance, just stop and space out, some weird body movements, and zero memory of it happening. Only know I've had one if someone tells me. I also go into the store, library etc alone but someone else drives me.

Mine mostly happen when I’m just a about to get up. I don’t know if I’m still asleep or if I am awaken and I don’t remember none of it sometimes I do things.
