Has The Keto Diet Been Tested For Its Effectiveness In Treating Adults. And If So, Would It Be Worth Trying It
I’ve been doing Ketogenic for 6 months, it has helped me in many beneficial ways . My epilepsy is Catamenial and hormone related only so I found Ketogenic Diet extremely helpful so far 🙊 .
I’ve lost 5 kilos per month , so I’ve gone from a size 20 to now a size 14, and still losing more.
I’ve completely gone off sugar and reset my appetite, I find my mind is more clear and and I’m able to mentally function better, I’ve got way more energy , my sleep pattern has improved and I could go on, but every body is different . I’ve tried other weight loss methods like gym, weight watchers, lite n easy which were worse for me , however no sugar in the diet has left me feeling why I didn’t do this so much earlier .
Just like a medicine or anything else, different medications or surgeries are more effective for individuals. However, here is a general search I did (didn't notice I was on Bing) seeking the answer. The answers you will find on the links are as various from asking friends on here. I personally have never used it because of diabetes. However, the mother of a friend of mine switched to him as a kid, and he has been seizure free for 40 years.

Hi - tried it about 7 years ago for a year. Did nothing for my epilepsy but I did lose 20 lbs. Hard to maintain, not very healthy, but has been shown to be helpful for some. Thought to be one of the least inflammatory diets.
It definitely works for me in terms of my depleting energy levels due to medication side affects. I tend not too have too much dairy though.
It didn’t for me
