I Would Like To Ask Who Has A Dog 🐶 That Is Adherent To Them When They Have Their Epilepsy Symptoms ?
My doctor suggested I get a dog to keep me company since I’m home alone most of the time , I walk him twice a day and he sticks to me like glue especially when I’m in seizure mode he will sit and stay on my lap on the couch and won’t let me leave the couch . So I understand now when he sticks to me oddly he understands me better than anyone else
I use a CPAP machine to help ensure I get enough oxygen to my brain whilst sleeping
He’s beautiful and deserves an extra treat for his caring, they are amazing pets!!
My poodle is a rescue that I’ve had for 8 years and he will sit right by my side and stares at me before my seizures. He’s not trained to be an alert dog but he senses them and it took me a while to realize what he was doing but once I did it was definitely reassuring for me.
We have King Charles Cavalier. He goes right between my legs, sitting or standing just before a seizure! He is a lap dog. Friend has a golden retriever. He knows barks at her and does the same as Dasher between her legs! You can get trained dog. My friend and I if you love the dog the dog has senses! We have to potty train them but that’s a month ! If puppy! Dasher is 14 ❣️Now We are taking care of each other❣️
My luck is that I am having mine in my sleep, that is when my body lets me sleep which isn’t often.
As For The Question I Replied To About The Canine Dogs, When Did That Come Into Play With The Epilepsy Conditions We Have? Curious
Has Anyone Had Suicidal Thoughts Or Tendencies Because Of Seizures Or Even Medication??
Why Are Dogs For The Blind Free But A Seizure Dog Is Up To $70,000.00?
