As For The Question I Replied To About The Canine Dogs, When Did That Come Into Play With The Epilepsy Conditions We Have? Curious
I had a dog that I saved from the animal shelter and she started telling my Mom that I was having seizures. I was usually almost done when Mom would be led into my room. Minnie outlived any other dog of her breed. She was doing things that the local vet was floored there was nothing wrong with her. I finally had brain surgery. The place said he was trained with a strong smelling seizure cloth from someone who had a seizure and they hadn't had any other issues.
So Dave it's either you have auras your dog gets use to to let you know or if you dint gace auras than you've got a buddy to watch over you.
The use of service dogs for people with epilepsy began in the 1970s and 1980s when trainers started noticing some dogs seemed able to sense oncoming seizures.
