Hi @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , You might make a list of Emergency phone numbers. Here is a link from www.epilepsy.com that talks about what to do if someone has a seizure & when it’s necessary to call the emergency number for help: https://www.epilepsy.com/recognition/seizure-fi... . I saw on your page you have a young son & so just make sure he knows what to do & what to watch out for if you have a seizure. Hope this helps. Here in the United States we have what’s called an Epilepsy Foundation that offers support for those with Epilepsy & offers support groups, programs, events & resources to those with Epilepsy. I looked to see if something like that was available in your country but it came up & was in a different language & so I didn’t know if that’s what I was trying to show you or not but you can look & see, I went to www.Google.com & typed in “Bulgaria Epilepsy Foundation” & it was the top website that I looked at. Your friend in Texas, Becky

Goro, first thing, if you’re on the floor, I have been told they should try to get you to lie on your side, to keep your airway open so you do not stop breathing. Then someone should start counting/ timing the seizure. If it lasts more than two minutes, then the recommendation is to see a Dr. The loved ones should not restrain you, but just make sure you don’t hurt yourself. If you have a neurologist that treats you normally, then report to them what happened.

Well, a lot of my seizures are hard to spot unless there very obvious so no. When I had my last one which did end up in emergency yes, literally everyone pitched in and helped out.

Kathryn13 and I know so and have been told so. But the associate professor has a different opinion. I mentioned that even with surgery, I will stay with the consumption of drugs. This is not a disease but a change in brain function. In order for there to be no Christpie, I have to change my whole brain. maybe there is remission for 2, 5, 10 years, but sometime after a provocation there will be a breakthrough seizure. Of course, I find support in the group and I don't give up. Now it is important to find an experienced neurologist and the right treatment. Have a nice weekend!
