I take phenobarbital which interacts with many different medications and Lamictal which also interacts with many things. I take lorazepam for anxiety and it also has a benefit of controlling seizures and Abilify for depression. Abilify is contraindicated with epilepsy but wondering if the other meds are cancelling each other out.

I use an oral Lorazepam ( Ativan Generic ) . But I don’t use it for Anxiety. I use it for a different reason. It is also used for stopping , cluster seizures, severe seizures and long lasting seizures.

Salina2, it is possible that there may be an interaction, depending on what the medications are. Do the psychiatrist and neurologist know all the drugs you’re on? You know, if it were me, I’d go to the pharmacist who gave you the meds, and ask if they know of any possible interactions. It might be a good place to start.
