What Do You Miss Most, Since Epilepsy Changed Your Life?
Due to having epilepsy I lost my 3 kids 25years ago, since being on my own I have not eaten a Sunday roast for 25years, I used to love that meal.
I miss my career in the Canadian army as a medic. But, I wouldn’t have met my outstanding husband. We also have an amazing daughter with no medical issues 🤞
Due to epilepsy social life to find any in person friends. Sorry to hear of your loss of children. I loss a child to 23yrs ago due to social life was only able to find an unfaithful whore I was engaged who got pregnant miscarried, possibly my, wanted child. I say possibly mine because it was not long after she lost the baby, she was caught cheating with nei. Now is questionable mine or his! Lucky I'm able to handle problems the way I do. That way is "don't cry about past problems they're gone, nothing's perfect. Don't fear the future, it has not arrived yet. Live present gorgeously one step at a time. There will be problems nothing is perfect. Also, with others feeling to you, if they don't like what they see don't look. If they don't like what they hear don't listen. Except me for who I truly am!
I hope you don't mind me saying this but my last 23 years were the positive part of my life. Tonight I celebrated the day I had my temporal lobectomy. It's helping me forget the 40 years before that.
The feeling and life of being able to be independent.
Driving, social life, personal life, education, & family. Just have to think positive about what the future holds.
