This Is My Third Night In The EMU With No Seizure Activity. Any Suggestions On Ways To Trigger A Seizure?
We've already tried flashing lights, hyperventilating and sleep deprivation.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I’m sure they have but have they taken you off your medicine? That’s one main thing I think they do when you have an in hospital EEG. In November 2019 I had an in hospital video EEG & was in there 3 to 5 days & since my seizures aren’t as frequent or severe as some peoples, I didn’t have any seizures, but they said that while I slept the EEG showed mostly Focalized seizure activity but some Generalized seizure activity. Most but not all of my seizures occur in my sleep. I think after I went home I eventually had one in my sleep. I’ll be doing an at home 48 hour EEG January 22nd, 2024. Good luck. Praying for you. Thank you, Becky. Yes, they stopped my meds after the first night.
That seems to be what doesn’t happen when you want it. I had a home eeg for a few days and when they removed it, the next day was when I had a seizure. Hope all goes well 👍❤️🙏

I had a lot of EEGs with no seizure activity. One was even a surgery.
Only thing I did that you don't mention is a stationary bike before I hyperventilated.
My seizure activity didn't show up until the fifth day. Then it was the most I've seen in just 12 hours.
