I'm Recovering From A Major Seizure And My Equilibrium Is My Major Problem. Does Anyone Have An Exercise That Might Help Expedite Recovery?
Thanks Irene we're very much alike. I just got off the bicycle and thankfully was able to take a short walk w/ my wife and the aide of to walking sticks. 7 minutes was max for me and felt a pain behind my eyes. Don't know if that's good or not. I'm impatient but will gradually increase . I also found a good, knowledgable PT!
Hi Irene--I think the pain might indicate that we have maxed out the exercise? I've stopped getting the pain. I just get stiff legs from the walking and riding the bike. I hope it means I'm getting better.
It's interesting that we get the same reaction to activity. I'm thinking we have focal epilepsy? I also have a reaction when I'm in a crowded room and there's a lot of noise. I have to leave quickly. There so many triggers! We had lunch in a crowded restaurant but I was able focus and ignore by conversing. I hope your Easter was good💗
Hi Michael, yes it seems we are very much alike. I love my walking poles and feel more stable with them. When I get the pain behind my eyes I try and find a place to sit. My best to you and your wife for a nice Easter 🐰
The only thing I've found is my exercise bike. It's really help once I am able to get on it. The other thing I have had to learn is to slow down. Running into walls and tripping while out walking my poor head has had a lot of banging around. I think I've had 5 concussions since September of 23...meds, nutrition, sleep and exercise are my key goals each day.
