Do Epilepsy Take Away Your Sleep?
Sleep is essential for a person that has epilepsy. I know from experience that sometimes a seizure will drain my energy and I feel very tired after that. At night after I finish watching tv ๐บ I grab a book ๐ that I have been reading lie in bed reading and eventually get to tired to keep reading ๐ put the book on the floor and turn off the light and go to sleep ๐ .
All the time! I have almost all of my seizures at night.
I wake up with Auras and then have them.
It is exhaustingโฆ.
I have struggled with this problem a lot. I used to take medications to help me just fall asleep. Now I stay in the den until I feel sleepy and try to use the bedroom just for sleeping at night. I also just watch TV in the den only. I have to make exceptions when I have backaches or similar problems, but it helps.
I have insomnia along with my Epilepsy. Everyday I struggle with sleep. My mind is running of thoughts , memories, daily events, songs that get stuck in my head and other things. Iโm usually awake into the Early mornings, until my body gets exhausted
Alot of people have issues with sleep. For me not so much. I can develop some issues but when it does happen its normally only because I'm out of routine.
