Wow, what timing. I just went through a round of 42 seizures in 5 days. I'm triggered by mri machines. I spent time in the hospital. After returning home I found I changed. I was easily frustrated, angry most of the time and afraid to be around my grandchildren. I up one of my meds but in my opinion my brain chemistry changes and I get new symptoms.

There are a few medications that can cause aggression, like emotional changes in getting angry easy or behavioral changes.

Then there is the after seizures effect of becoming angry , crying, and ect. This all depends on where the seizures are located in the brain.

I believe it depends what type of Epilepsy, where in the brain is affected. Excessive reactivity in the amygdala, coupled with inadequate prefrontal regulation, serves to increase the likelihood of aggressive behavior.
