If You Knew Your Epilepsy Was Genetic And It Was Guaranteed That Your Kids Would Have Seizures Would You Have Kids ?
I mean I know my son became brain damaged from a vaccine but before that he was quite advanced so just curious π if you knew you had a disease or whatever that you could pass on to your kids would you have them ?
It is all about where you got your epilepsy from. If it came from the genes if it was an accident or head wound, or as a result of bug bites as a recent discussion I was in her son got it from the west nile virus that he had.
I know Epilepsy is genetic but it's not a guarantee it will be. I also know there are many types of epileptic seizures but I know it can still be defeated to live a happy life. Since I know that I believe I can teach him how to do that since I did.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member what I find odd is that my son is the only one with epilepsy within my entire 75plus relatives I have however all the others suffer from diabetes or cholesterol issues I think diabetes can be cured but brain π§ damage can not
Epilepsy can be dealt with like diabetes is just a condition not a disease. Modern view of epilepsy in society is great no one hides it like years ago.

I would probably still have kids. I had seizures as a kid so I would know what to expect. My mom could help with a lot of information because she dealt with me as a kid having seizures
