Sometimes when you start a new medication adjustments need to be made. So your doctor may have you do blood tests to see how your medication is doing.

Been there and done that for over 50 years. My lab techs get a kick out of it when I say "go ahead vampires, take my blood!" as they just laugh when I say that.

The advantage of Keppra is that it has fewer long-term side effects than most other medicines, which is why they try to stick with it for us. That is why I was left on that one long-term post-surgery. This August is 10 years. Never give up you can do this!
