What If Your Doc Decides To Leave And Gave You Notice, Would You Wait For The Replacement Doc,or Look For Another Somewhere Else? Curious.
It's not happened to me, but I would be ok with the replacement doc, my opinion. Male or female, doesn't matter my opinion.
I would first ask my current doctor about the replacement doctor and if I should let the replacement doctor become my specialist.
There was a time that my doctor moved from one hospital to another and I followed him to the new hospital. There was another time that I had to change my doctor because my insurance said that I had to change. If you are happy with the doctor you have now try to keep that doctor.
I did not start looking for another doctor when mine left. Worst mistake of my life. I am now being seen by a doctor at UNC and he is great.
I had that happen. My Specialist retired. He gave us all a lot of time, and if we wanted he would find the replacement in his office. He gave us to other Specialists who he thought each of us would benefit from. Mine was pretty awesome.
My specialist have retired an give me a specialist he trained himself that I had seen before hand
