I don't have children myself but did help with my 1/2 bro and sis I was close too. The way I did so was to play with them in fun educational ways. Did so they learned how to handle some actions used thru life and be successful. Such as playing monopoly in which they were mayor of the board. Since I was in school studying medical clerical and had some medical knowledge whenever I came home on break time from school they helped me with a homework on not to hard medical work, to graduate and celebrate after I finished successfully. May have been fake homework but it was correct answers I leveled to their ability to learn, and some other different ways. I believe it did help. I say that seeing my lil sis is a successful nurse and my lil bro is a successful head manager at a casino. Both seem to be living a happy life!

Most of parenting wasn’t too hard . The only thing I had trouble with was helping out with with the more advanced Math from school . I was able to do the basics of math , with no issues. . My wife helped with that part..

I help my kids learn how to ride a 2 wheel bike, when they felt ready .

I did the cooking most of the time . When my kids were old enough to use the microwave over carefully use the Stove top , they would cook easy packaged or canned foods and cooked them their selves.

Today I still cook most of the time for my family and I.

I haven't had problems with my daughter, in fact we are much closer. We take care of each other.

Depends on the way you look at it. I think I raised my sons right showing the up side of behavior and the down side of misbehaving. I heard enough compliments to feel the approval of other parents.

One part I could have handled better but I know I tried was controlling the Kepprage. When I went off Keppra, my oldest son said, "We've been waiting for and hoping to see this dad for a long time."
