Varies with the medication. I know when I was pregnant the medication they had me on didn’t allow me to gain weight. My daughter didn’t even weigh 5 pounds when she was born. I never even wore maternity clothes. The medication is now simply used for weight loss.

I gained weight while I was on Keppra. But when my seizures didn't do so well She took me off, & I was really GLAD. Now I'm on Lamital & Zonsamide & they are working well together for me & my weight is staying where it should be!

I’ve experienced both , losing weight and gaining weight, for side effect of certain medications.

There have been a few past medications, that made me not eat much too

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, it can be depending on the medication. Some require you to take your meds with a meal, so you won't have nausea and vomiting. It depends on the medications and vitamin supplements you are taking.
