I Was Just Told By A Neurologist That My Seizures May Not Be Neurological But Cardiac.

I was just told by a neurologist that my seizures may not be neurological but cardiac which I have never heard of before. I have had some cardiac issues in the past but very minor until last December when I had a mild infarction and they said I had an arrhythmia and afib. Any ideas?

I knew a lady that told me her dad would have an occasional seizure due to a heart problem. He wasn't considered to have epilepsy.

My cardiologist has never brought up cardiac seizures. I had open heart surgery right when I started having seizures and I continue to see a cardiologist.

Mini stroke? Arrhythmia which is abnormal heat rhythm. Because you can get abnormal heart rate with complex partial seizures

My dr heard skips and murmurs in my heart and wanted me have it checked out, as she says it could increase seizures.
