Unfortunately yes. My neuro said the combination of medication, epilepsy, and any menopausal activity are all working against us.

The more medicines we are on, the worse the worse it is. Also, the longer, the more issues. Once I had surgery and started coming off the medicines and had the speech therapy the more I was able to do. This August is 10 years seizure-free.

I lost my memory like a snap of the finger when I was 10 years old, which is when I started having seizures. I went from being able to remember a lot of things to not being able to remember a sentence and my memory has remained this way for over 30 years as I continue to have seizures.
