I would ask your specialist as every state must go through certain steps when needing to reach this type of service.

It is a disability not a handicap

I am receiving the DTC in Canada 🇨🇦. People say that it is hard to get now . The government is more strict about what is considered a disability. Also it depends on how your neurologist words are on the application.
I also got this disability serving in the Canadian military.

Living in Canada, I know how the government justifies/judges disability/ handicap. With the DTC it also depends on how your doctor words you in the form.
It is not as easy to get what you’re deserve with the government now.
I’ve worked with Canadian government all my career.

I would discuss it with your neurologist.
