Well I do a lot of sharing of articles to my family and friends and whenever there's a moment, I will explain everything I can about my seizures and Epilepsy as I can. In reality, as much as they will try emphasize/sympathize with our disabilities, unless they are actually in our shoes they won't feel our pain, so we can help them understand our qualms so that they're ready to help us if/when they can rather than be clueless and watch us suffer.

Nobody , without Epilepsy will fully understand what we go through. But for those people who don’t want to try and understand our challenges, are the ignorant ones

most of my family live their lives around. when my dad was alive he tried to understand but he didn't quite understand the variety of symptoms seizures can produce. I don't want pity or sympathy, I just want those close to me to understand there are times I won't act myself and won't be able to do everyday activities.
